GERALD McCULLOUCH* (Colin) originated the role in the NY Production of DADDY and played 'Jesus' in the European tour of Jesus Christ Superstar. LA Theatre: Snacks (also directed, Working Stage), Change at Babylon (Tiffany and Hudson Mainstage), End of The World Party (Celebration) and Loose Ends (Ventura Court). Recent TV: "CSI" (10 seasons), "Law & Order: SVU", "Law & Order: Criminal Intent", "NCIS", and 2 seasons as a recurring guest host of "FYE!" on E!TV. He earned critical acclaim for his starring role in the recent gay indie hit BearCity and is an award-winning filmmaker, whose film The Moment After received screenings and acclaim worldwide. IAN VERDUN (Tee) is proud to be making his Los Angeles Stage debut in DADDY, and is honored to be working with an incredibly talented cast and crew. A graduate of the California Institute of the Arts (2007) and the British American Drama Academy (2004), Ian has been making the rounds in the New York theater scene with roles in Houses On The Moon, The Hard Lull (Discovery Hill Productions), Storm and Stress (Center Stage), and New York's ABC Diversity Showcase. His film credits include Vivos (Columbian Film Festival Official Selection), Bananas, and Horizons.
DAN VIA* (Stew/playwright) most recently appeared as the über-Boss in the hit Adding Machine: A Musical at the Studio Theatre in Washington, DC (directed by the co-adapter). New York credits include It’s Our Town, Too (Vital Theatre), Season’s Greetings (Hudson River Rep), Oh! Virgil (Judson Arts) and Archipelago (Intentional Theatre Group). A former DC resident, he has performed with many of that city’s leading theaters, including Studio (highlight: the title role in Jerry Springer: The Opera), The Shakespeare Theatre, Theater J, Rep Stage and Source Theatre. He was also member of the critically beloved “upstart” Catalyst Theater Company. On camera, Dan has made multiple appearances as Denny the bartender on “One Life to Live,” and is a regular on the buzz-magnet web series “Anyone But Me,” now in its second season. DADDY marks his debut as a playwright.
JEFFREY PATRICK OLSON (Ensemble/Colin Understudy) is thrilled to be working on DADDY! Since moving to LA from Chicago 18 months ago, he has performed in I Love Lucy Live at Bally's Las Vegas and F*cking Men at Celebration Theatre (US premiere). Chicago favorites: The Ritz (Pride Films and Plays Series), Die! Mommie, Die! (Chicago premiere) and Marked Down Woman for Hell in a Handbag, Psycho Beach Party. Film: title role in Christopher - NYFA short film, featured in Detention with Josh Hutcherson, lead in Pooltime. RENE RUIZ* (Ensemble) was a featured performer and show director for the Walt Disney World, Co. for over fifteen years. He is an experienced emcee/host who recently hosted the live game show The $1,000,000 Vegas Game Show at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. An accomplished voice actor, Rene has recently recorded two audiobook titles for Audible.com. He conceived, directed and performed in TOXIC AUDIO, an acappella concept show that played Off-Broadway and won the 2004 Drama Desk Award for “Unique Theatrical Experience”. He is currently developing a new musical revue based on the music of Charles Fox.
